Welcome back for day one of the third round of mystery stitching! It's been such fun seeing what people have been turning the first two parts into! Though some people are waiting with assembly till they know how many there will be - not something I know yet as the lockdowns/stay in place/quarantines are still ongoing and I'll be making these till all that ends - with an extra pattern (probably not given as a mystery) if needed to make things even so that the biscornu makers will have a back for the final one. I don't know about you but my hands are really suffering from all this hand washing. I'm allergic to hand cream, even the hypoallergenic ones, so things are getting painful. But I can still stitch so stitch I shall! Now on to the pattern!
This is what I'll be using for my third one - I had planned to be clever with colour and picked something else but this morning the colour didn't call me as much this one that I'd put aside because it didn't fit what I thought I was going to do. Sometimes you have to listen to the shouting of the threads! The Thread is Jodyri Designs "Sherbet Dip" 042R. The fabric is "Mermaid Dreams" Jodyri Designs January 2019 Limited Edition 18ct Aida, which I've heard will be going to become a regular fabric at some point in the not too distant future - good news as I love this fabric and want more (the bit you can see is folded i half and all I have left).
You can find the pattern here
Have fun and I'll be back tomorrow with the next part of the Mini
Magical Mystery SAL 3! I'll also be giving the next part of the Blackwork SAL!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

Ugh I feel ya about the hands, mine are angry too.. I have 2 types of hand eczema :( tho got better when we got plastic gloves to use at work and not just hand sanitizer (b4 and after touching anything given to or taken from a costumer /visitor).
ReplyDeleteIf you can, even something as simple as olive oil rubbed into your hands can help.
