Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Part 9

Welcome to the ninth part of the Spring Magical Mystery SAL! This part is, like part eight, also a low count part - so your breather has been extended! More yellow too!

Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Part 8

Welcome to the eighth part of the Spring Magical Mystery SAL! This is the half way point of the SAL! I hope you are enjoying it and like how it's slowly coming together. This time as promised there are a lot less stitches. I hope you enjoy the breather!

Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Part 7

Welcome to the seventh part of the Spring Magical Mystery SAL! This part brings you three colours of stitching and the most stitches of this SAL but I'm sure you can make it and the next two parts have the least stitches of this SAL to compensate. The plus point is that some parts require no counting at all but just filling in.

Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Part 6

Welcome to the sixth part of the Spring Magical Mystery SAL! Time for some more green! Hey at least you are getting the occasional other colour between all the green this time, unlike with the NYE SAL!

Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Part 5

Welcome to the fifth part of the Spring Magical Mystery SAL! This time we will be using two colours! You will need to look carefully for some of the stitches but I'm sure you will find them! The good news is that this time there are not so many stitches.

Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Part 4

Welcome to the fourth part of the Spring Magical Mystery SAL! I hope you are having fun stitching with green as this part is MORE green! On the plus side it's now the *other* green so you will at least see the change more easily!

Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Part 3

Welcome to the third part of the Spring Magical Mystery SAL! Hopefully those of you who woke up to finding part one waiting were able to catch up with those who were already awake! In the first few parts you will see the numbers are going up a little, but I have included some parts with less than 50 stitches. Except for the very last part there is never more than 90 stitches and the highest number is only once and is followed by two lots of low numbers to let you catch up.

Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Part 2

Welcome to the second part of the Spring Magical Mystery SAL! If all is well you have stitched the first part too now, and perhaps even the pre-stitches if you decided to wait or found the SAL a bit later than many.

Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Part 1

Welcome to the first part of the Spring Magical Mystery SAL! If all is well you have stitched the two pre-stitch parts - or chosen not to so as to keep the mystery a bit longer. If you are just finding this then you need to check out the links in the left-hand sidebar to know what materials you need and get the pre-stitch parts as all else is worked off what you stitch there.

Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Part 13

Welcome back! This is the 13th part of the pattern and that means we are 1/4 of the way into the year already! As not everyone is a member of the fb group and within the group not everyone saw the message I'm going to say it here too: Last week it was pointed out to me by an eagle eyed group member that I had forgotten to add part of the tops of the plants - I have since fixed the pattern and you can grab it from the bottom of the page here. The addition is of course optional - if you like it add it - it's only 30 stitches total - if you don't then leave it as is.

Friday Freebie: Easter Egg

Happy Friday! This week I thought I'd make a little Easter egg that can be stitched up as a last minute ornament or card. It can be stitched in two ways even so even if you don't celebrate Easter but want to have some Spring in your house or send a happy card to someone then this pattern will work for that too!

Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Part 12

Welcome to the start of the third band! I know quite a few of you are keen to start stitching the stags that are in this band and luckily for you we get the fun of starting with the antlers! You will need to count carefully to get to where you need to be but it's worth it!

March TUSAL

Not sure what a TUSAL is? Click the picture!

I feel like I'm about to go to some sort of addiction meeting...

Hi! It's been 3 months since my last TUSAL post...

Great start isn't it! I've been stitching so much I've not really had time for extra posts - even the WIP Wednesday posts have suffered the results of my stitch-a-thon!

Friday Freebie: Needle Keeper

We all use needles and need a way to store them - I have both a needle book and pincushions. Over the years have discovered I am a pincushion parker when it comes to needles. The problem with this, of course, is that as I use many sizes of needles they all get mixed up together - a royal pain when you need a specific size for something.

Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Pre-stitch 2

Welcome back! Hopefully everyone had time to stitch the first part before today! I saw lots of wonderful versions all over social media so I think many of you have! If you missed the other posts about this SAL please look here first: The Next Mystery SAL: The Spring Mystery

Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Part 11

Welcome back! This week its time for the second part of band 2! I know some of you have been impatient to do it as yet again I have seen photos of the completed second band before I have posted this part *sigh*. I even didn't post any of my WIP pictures to see if it would help... but alas it did not. If things don't improve by the end of the third band I may have to be a bit more drastic about things - but hopefully the crappy size of the image I made last week will help. Onward to happier things!

Friday Freebie: Fob a Month - March

Welcome to the third instalment of the Fob a Month for this year. The theme of the year has become flowers - though it wasn't an intentional thing when I started this at the beginning of the year, I'm quite happy to have decided to go this route. This month's flower inspiration is the hyacinth - I have blue grape hyacinths growing in my garden and they are so very pretty. I love the normal ones too, but I can't grow them as they set off my allergies a lot more.

Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Part 10

At last it's time for the second band! This is a very short band - just two weeks so you will also get a preview of the next band this week! Remember: don't post pics ahead of what you have been given as a PATTERN. Also... did you see the blog post I made on Sunday with other people's embroideries? If not check it out!

Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Other People's Embroideries

I asked in the Facebook group if anyone would mind if I shared their photos in a post so everyone could admire their work and perhaps get some inspiration for their own versions. I got a LOT of positive responses so here are a few of them - I'll be making other posts with more photos of people's work soon. I picked the names randomly from the post, just to keep things fair.

Friday Freebie: Ornament of the Month - March

Welcome back for the third Ornament of the Month! When you have finished this one you will be 1/4 of the way! This month we are moving on to a new colour: dark blue. I chose my favourite darker blue for this: DMC 820

Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Pre-stitch 1

A new SAL and a new banner - of course I couldn't use the current mystery as that would be a spoiler hehe. Welcome to the first pre-stitch for the Spring Mystery! Hopefully you have all picked 6 colours already and remembered to mark them A - F according to the list given in the first post: The Next Mystery SAL: The Spring Mystery. If not, now would be a good time to do so as the patterns are probably not in the colours you picked so it will be easier to remember what is what by the time the mystery proper starts.
