Tips:
- When I design patterns I work on the basis of:
- One strand of thread over one for Aida when doing backstitch
- One strand of thread over two for evenweave/linen when doing backstitch
- Two strands of thread over one for Aida when doing cross stitch
- Two strands of thread over two for evenweave/linen when doing cross stitch
- Patterns may have either 18ct or 14ct set for the size (it doesn't show unfortunately) - I haven't always remembered to adjust this to 14ct - I've adjusted that for new patterns but in patterns I designed before I set this they will still be sized for 18ct! - remember to check the stitch count before starting and see if the fabric you have is large enough.
- If you want to change the colours on something I have designed, go for it! Really!
- I love seeing what people do with my patterns ESPECIALLY if you have changed it up a bit!
