Another Quick update...

 Hiya everyone! 

Thanks for all the lovely comments on my last post. I'm sorry to have kept you all waiting for an update. I'm past the burnout, but the vaccination has given me a fun new side effect that has Dr's puzzled, so I'm doing blood tests and stuff to try and find out what's up. All we know is that after trying to do stuff for a few minutes I start to shake as if I've run a marathon. This includes sitting at the computer which doesn't make communication easy. I'll try to keep you better updated.

Quick Update...

Hiya everyone!

Sorry for the radio silence - I kept on meaning to say something but then didn't have the energy. Last year's crazy schedule has finally caught up with me, and I've got a bit of a burnout going on. I am also recovering from some very unpleasant side effects of the Corona vaccine.

What's planned:

• I'm going to take a bit of me time
• Then I'm going to play catch up with all the missing posts.

That is one thing I would never do to any of you! Please hang on in there, and I'll be back asap!

Since not everyone does the NYE Mystery SAL I am also making a separate post to wish everyone a happy New Year! I wish for all of you the best health possible, with many good days. I also hope that you can find happiness in small things and not get thwarted by the old mean frog that makes you rip your stitches out. And most of all I hope the world becomes calmer without so much hate and selfishness — peace and love are much better for everyone!

News: Update and More - December Edition

Happy December! It's been a tough year for many of us and December has been shaping up to make the usual celebrations we have more complicated and with fewer people than we may have liked. Unless of course you didn't like going to the family get-togethers, in which case you got a get out of jail free card for this year.

News: Update and More - November Edition

After the extra health issues earlier this year and getting far behind with far too many things I think I can say I'm more or less caught up with everything. In the end I sent a mass email with everyone as BCC to those of you who donated by PayPal and hadn't been emailed a reward yet. News: Update and More - October Edition

If you have been keeping up with my blog posts you will have seen that I've had some new health issues this year. Last time I mentioned anything away from a Mini Magical Mystery SAL post I was awaiting a 24 hour blood pressure test. I had the test, with some issues as it wasn't set up correctly, the band was too large and the box needed a restart and recalibration but the end result was that the test showed that actually I didn't need blood pressure meds at all and that was why I was having so many issues. I've been off the meds for almost two months now and I'm finally feeling normalish. Of course now I have six months of cleaning to catch up on... which is exhausting as I'm terribly out of condition now.

Mini Magical Mystery SAL - The Future

As the end of the ninth Mini Magical Mystery SAL nears I'm already missing the little patterns even though there will be the Summer Magical Mystery SAL taking over after it. The way the pandemic is looking at the moment it's improving in some places and getting worse in others, leading to localised lockdowns and potentially worse to come. To be Honest I, and I think everyone else, hoped it would all be over by summer and we could go back to some kind of normal afterwards.

2021 Plans

It's super early to be talking about this but never too early for me to start plotting. This is NOT an official information post - I won't be giving amounts for anything - I'm going to be dropping hints so you can perhaps not throw away something you might need.

Happy Tuesday! This week there is no SAL as it's the 5th Tuesday of the month. As I'm rushed off my feet between this year's SALs, next year's SALs, and the insanity that is TeamKLT vs TeamJodyri there is no new extra pattern today. The good news is that this means you can do some catching up!

July Plans and more

It being the summer I'll be taking things a bit easier over the month of July, especially while I'm away for a bit. I'll be writing posts ahead of time and you could see less stitching in the posts as I may not have time to stitch it all before I go away. One thing I will start is a Summer SAL over in the Mystery SAL group! Before all that let me show you what I spent some of the donations I have been given since the last post mentioning donations.

News: Ornament of the Month for 2015, NFSAL, and More

This is just a post to let all of you know that I have completed moving all of the Ornaments of the Month 2015 to my blog. I have posted them on the dates they were originally posted on the old site. The links in the sidebar now link to the new posts. The patterns are no longer on the NCC International Headquarters site, which also no longer exists. RIP to the site - it was good while it lasted but due to a lack of being able to make comments possible things did not go so well there.
