Welcome to Christmas in July day 23! This pattern was inspired by the Mucha princess patterns Pinky the Pink
has made, this one uses the colours of Aurora which you can find here (if it hasn't sold out yet as it's a limited edition pattern). Pinky's etsy shop can be found here with more princesses and much, much more!
Aurora's pattern calls for some blended colours but no backstitching or beads. Blending threads is easy! You just take 1 thread of each colour called for and use them together as a single thread - that's all there is to it!
You can find the pattern here
I'll see you tomorrow with the next Christmas in July pattern!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

This pattern looks as interesting as the colours on Aurora do, so I think I did a great job maching the stocking to her :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! :D Aurora was challenging to design with due to the range of colours used for her.
