Welcome to the 12th day of Christmas in July! Today Some very traditional colours with a medieval pattern. This is another of the patterns used for my Celtic Wolf that wanted to be a stocking.
The pattern calls for a LOT of metallics but it will be worth it once finished! There are 4 different DMC gold's, Kreinik gold cord, and Kreinik #4 red as well as some normal DMC to do the backstitched outline. Of course if you prefer you can use all Kreinik for this but this is what I originally used and the result is amazing.
You can find the pattern here
I'll see you tomorrow for the next stocking pattern!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

Oh wow! Those will look so amazing when stiched with the appropriate metallics.
ReplyDeleteYes they will! The pattern and threads looked amazing on Celtic Wolf and now seeing it as a stocking size shows how much bigger Celtic Wolf actually is.
