Its day 29 of the Christmas in July freebies and that means there are only 2 more days left after today! Today's pattern is another of my beloved illuminated manuscript inspired patterns.
This one has a lot of Kreinik #4 Very Fine Braid in 002J and it's really worth all the stitching with it as the colours are glorious! I made a fob pattern with it some weeks ago and it looks like this before assembly:
It is as you can see very shiny and has a lovely texture to it.
You can find the pattern here
I'll see you tomorrow for the penultimate day!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

I liked this when it was a square, but I love how it looks in stocking shape :)
