2019/2020 NYE Mystery SAL - Part 3

Welcome to the first part of the NYE Mystery SAL proper - which is also part three so later the pattern names make sense if you want to make it again or don't have time now (Not surprisingly so as it has been a busy week for many what with Christmas landing in the middle of the week). I was running around a lot myself in the days running up to Christmas and had flopped on the sofa yesterday thinking I could *finally* relax only to wake up from a nap with that feeling you have forgotten something important... yup! I had totally mixed my days up and had almost forgotten to get all of this sorted out! EEEEEEK!
In my rush to stitch part three (after finishing part two moments before) I completely forgot to take a photo of part two so you will have to make do with a picture instead - sorry about that!

There is one new colour this time - the darkest blue: DMC 820 in the pattern.

Remember to check the information sheet on the pattern for pointers as to where new stitches are added and count carefully! Also don't forget which way is up - I forgot last Mystery SAL and had to do a bit of ripping...

DET stands for DMC EToile - when making the palette for Etoile in PCStitch I wasn't allowed to re-use DMC as a code so I had to pick something else.

Colour used this time:

  • Colour D (DMC 820 on the pattern)
  • Colour E (DET C Blanc (white) on the pattern)
Number of stitches:
  • 20 - in Colour D
  • 24 - in Colour E
For a total of 44 stitches for this part.

You can find the pattern here

See you for the next part of the mystery in 4 hours!

I do not expect anyone to be able to be up to date at all times during the SAL - you need to eat and sleep at the very least so expect to be "behind" part - if not all - of the time! It's part of the nature of this type of SAL for this to happen, so being "behind" is the normal state of affairs. If you are a slow stitcher expect to finish "after" the SAL has "finished" - though tbh the SAL is always available and new people find the patterns on a regular basis so it's never really over.

On all social media sites the tag to use is: #NYEMysterySAL - let's make the world see what we are up to!
