This is what the Spring Seasons SAL looks like once stitched. As the house colour turned out to be closer to the sky colour than anticipated I added backstitched lines to make it stand out more.
And here is the Summer Seasons SAL! I re-used three of the colours from the pattern for the flowers and added a second red to brighten things up a bit. This would be a good spot to use up leftovers from other projects - or even variegated threads!
In the tree are unripe apples as it's a bit too soon for them to be ripe. That said you can make them any colour you like! If you are feeling adventurous you could grab one red and one green strand of thread (or two different greens) and use both in the needle at the same time to give the apples a mix of colour.
If you don't have all the blues you could do something similar as you could do with the apples. You'd need a light blue, a medium light blue, and dark light blue.
- Colour 1 (nearest the sun) is the light blue on its own.
- Colour 2 is one strand of the lightest blue with one strand of the medium light blue.
- Colour 3 is the medium light blue on its own.
- Colour 4 one strand of the medium light blue with one strand of the dark light blue.
- Colour 5 is the dark light blue on its own.
These are the threads I used for mine - they are all as per the chart.
The fabric I'm using is Jodyri Designs June 2017 Limited Edition "Welsh Daffodil" 18ct Aida.
Here are all three patterns so far - the house owners do like to repaint frequently don't they? Hehe.
You can find the pattern here
Have fun stitching! I'll see you in an hour with the Temperature SAL, tomorrow for the next part of the Mini Magical Mystery SAL 8, and on Friday I'll be back with the seventh Ornament of the Month for 2020!
Still no bacon, but such a beautiful colour gradient on the sky!
