I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

Blackwork SAL - November
Welcome to the eleventh part of the Blackwork SAL! Thank you all for the birthday wishes, I had a great day and was spoilt rotten! For those wondering why my fb birthday shows as another date - I had stalker issues in the past and setting a different birthday from the real one is one of the ways to avoid issues. On to what you came for... this is the second to last post for the SAL bringing you the second to last part - this month it's a LOT of stitches!
This is what my version looks like after stitching November - you may want to click to enlarge the picture to see the many stitches of this month.
As always I have included a larger area of the Blackwork pattern with the area to be used in the SAL marked out in red in case you have trouble with the blue and so you can see a larger area. You are not supposed to stitch this area.
You can find the pattern here
Have fun stitching! I'll be back tomorrow AND Thursday for more SAL announcement posts, Friday for a Friday Freebie, and finally Saturday for the very last SAL announcement post!

This one looks so simple, but I can already tell I'll have to be really careful with the counting!
ReplyDeleteOnce you get the feel of the pattern you should be able to do this without much effort :)
