Weavers Birds SAL - Part 1

Welcome to the first part of the Weavers Birds SAL! With a new SAL comes a new header! I waited till today to show it as this is also the first part of the SAL. One thing you will notice on the pattern is that it has lines - red on the colour version, black on the black and white version. These lines are every six rows and indicate how much to stitch if you want to stitch a bit of the pattern every week.
If you manage to do that as a minimum every week you will be nicely on schedule, which is handy to know if you are busy in the week the pattern arrives and you don't want to fall behind.
This is the pattern without the lines so you can see it more clearly in the picture. As you can see part is grey - this is because it's the border that I have given as a pattern already and so you can more easily see how many stitches are in this month's pattern.
For those of you wondering what is what here is a key - it wasn't possible to make a nice circle around things due to the shapes so I made the best thing I could. Click to enlarge.
