HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Welcome to the 30th part of the NYE Mystery SAL! When this post gets published it will be midnight for me so the New year will have started - I'll be writing another post later in the day but for now I want to wish you all the best for 2020, may you be as healthy as you can be, may finances work out - even if things are not as easy as you'd like, and most of all may you have a wonderful stitching year! At the same time we have reached another milestone for this SAL: the last three parts... just two more pattern posts for the front after this one, then two more posts to round things off completely. There will be more today, but I'll tell more in a later post.
Part 29 was a HUGE chunk of stitching for this SAL - I have no idea how it got to be that way - I was probably side-tracked and missed it later on - sorry about that. It did however change the whole embroidery in one fell swoop - the border is now super border-ish and there is no mistaking where it begins and ends... or has it? You never really know with me do you? Hehehe.
Colours used this time
- Colour B (DMC 809 on the pattern)
- Colour F (DET C 798 on the pattern)
- 68 - in Colour B
- 20 - in Colour F
You can find the pattern here
See you for the next part of the mystery in 4 hours!
I do not expect anyone to be able to be up to date at all times during the SAL - you need to eat and sleep at the very least so expect to be "behind" part - if not all - of the time! It's part of the nature of this type of SAL for this to happen, so being "behind" is the normal state of affairs. If you are a slow stitcher expect to finish "after" the SAL has "finished" - though tbh the SAL is always available and new people find the patterns on a regular basis so it's never really over.
On all social media sites the tag to use is: #NYEMysterySAL - let's make the world see what we are up to!
