Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 9

Welcome to the ninth part of the Spring Mystery SAL 2019! The first 24 hours of the SAL are up - how are things going for you? Did life get "in the way of stitching" or are you zooming along happily? Are you off having fun somewhere and left the stitching at home because it was better that way? However you spend your day I hope you are enjoying yourself as that is the most important part.
This is my embroidery after part eight, all that green from the last part is really starting to show itself.

This time you get to use two colours yet again! More green again too!

Remember to read the pattern notes and count carefully!

Colours used this time:

  • Colour A (DMC 369 on the pattern)
  • Colour C (DMC 3756 on the pattern)
Number of stitches:
  • 36 - in Colour A
  • 64 - in Colour C
For a total of 100 stitches for this part.

Time I needed to stitch this part: 34 minutes. I have no idea why this part went so much faster but it did.

You can find the pattern here

I'll see you for the next part of the mystery in four hours! Have fun!

On all social media sites the tag to use is:  #SpringMagicalMysterySAL - let's make the world see what we are up to!

I do not expect anyone to be able to be up to date at all times during the SAL - you need to eat and sleep at the very least so expect to be "behind" part - if not all - of the time! It's part of the nature of this type of SAL for this to happen, so being "behind" is the normal state of affairs. If you are a slow stitcher expect to finish "after" the SAL has "finished" - though tbh the SAL is always available and new people find the patterns on a regular basis so it's never really over.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! Either here or in the Facebook group or, if you prefer, you can DM me on Twitter or Instagram (@magical525 on both)

  1. This one went pretty fast for me as well! It just felt like I wasn't 'jumping around' the pattern so much.

    1. The beginning especially is a lot of jumping around to get the groundwork in for the rest - once that was in things went faster as you had more references to work from :)
