Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 5

Welcome to the fifth part of the Spring Mystery SAL 2019! I hope you enjoyed part four! Don't forget to make time for breaks if you are spending all weekend stitching and hydrate!
Here is my embroidery showing my part four. Yours will look fairly similar depending on the colours you picked. You now have four traditional far away seagulls on your embroidery - but for how long?

This time you get to use three colours yet again!

Remember to read the pattern notes and count carefully!

Colours used this time:

  • Colour A (DMC 369 on the pattern)
  • Colour B (DMC 3811 on the pattern)
  • Colour H (DMC 445 on the pattern)

Number of stitches:

  • 36 - in Colour A
  • 48 - in Colour B
  • 16 - in Colour H

For a total of 100 stitches for this part.

Time I needed to stitch this part: 47 minutes.

You can find the pattern here

I'll see you for the next part of the mystery in four hours! Have fun!

On all social media sites the tag to use is:  #SpringMagicalMysterySAL - let's make the world see what we are up to!

I do not expect anyone to be able to be up to date at all times during the SAL - you need to eat and sleep at the very least so expect to be "behind" part - if not all - of the time! It's part of the nature of this type of SAL for this to happen, so being "behind" is the normal state of affairs. If you are a slow stitcher expect to finish "after" the SAL has "finished" - though tbh the SAL is always available and new people find the patterns on a regular basis so it's never really over.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! Either here or in the Facebook group or, if you prefer, you can DM me on Twitter or Instagram (@magical525 on both)

  1. I was wondering if you ever considered changing the structure of your blog?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But
maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 images.
Maybe you could space it out better?

    1. Thank you for your comments - for this format the picture to text ratio is just right :)
