Welcome to the fourth NFSAL of 2019! This month I didn't have time to stitch the NFSAL though it's a small fun little stitch to do. It has a bunch of straight stitches and beads/French knots which make it look extra special though it's quite easy to stitch. If you have been wanting to try some speciality stitches then this is the tiny project to use for it!
You can do the full and half star shapes either by making extra large cross stitches with a + over the top or by (working from outside towards the centre) doing single stitches, which will create an eyelet.
The pattern is 24 stitches square.
You can find the pattern here
Have fun stitching and I'll see you tomorrow for the April 50 x 50 for 2019 post!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

I really like this one in the light green you display, but I'm sure it'd look great in almost any colour!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it! Yes, it would look great in any colour - or even with metallics and beads :D
