Happy Tuesday! We ran out of Tuesday SALs for April so I thought I'd surprise you with a freebie just in case you had run out of stitching to do (HA! As if!). This time I did the pattern with two reds but you can of course use as many colours as you like for this.
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

Friday Freebie: Spring Ice
Happy Friday! This week no SAL post so instead I have a somewhat chilly but pretty pattern for you. I haven't stitched it myself, it's been a pretty hectic month for me as for some insane reason I decided to join in with the KLT Charting vs Jodyri Designs challenge on Facebook and so far I've stitched over 60 hours for the assorted challenges, none of which is stuff for the SALs! I have worked on them too so my stitching hours this month are pretty high.

Blackwork SAL - April
Welcome to the fourth part of the Blackwork SAL! I'm sorry it's late, I managed to forget it was Tuesday - again! *blush* This month you get to add a new colour! I'm sure you are very excited to see what is in store for you so I'll get on to it now.

Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 16
Welcome to the unexpected and unannounced part sixteen of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! Although I think it might be foreseeable since I have only posted pictures of completed things after the post itself. So this blog post is to show the end result of all my stitching and to request that if you blog or flosstube about this to link it to me in this post so I can admire your stitching or watch your flosstube!
Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 15
Welcome to the fifteenth part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! It's time to show you what my completed embroidery looks like but the important bit for you is the pattern for the back that I designed - well actually it's more than one!
Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 14
Welcome to the fourteenth part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! Sadly this is the last part of the main SAL embroidery - but fear not there is more to come! After all there is the pattern for the back to come, so it's not completely over yet.
Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 13
Welcome back to the thirteenth part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! The end line is getting closer - are you ready for the fun to end? I hope not as there is still lots to do!
Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 12
Welcome to the twelfth part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019 - it's good to see you yet again! I hope you are liking what you see so far with the SAL and hope that you are not wondering too much where I will find the space for the 292 stitches that are left of the SAL!

Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 11
Welcome to the eleventh part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! Only four more parts left for the SAL! Though there are more posts planned than just for the main pattern. The embroideries I have seen so far have been absolutely fabulous! Not just in the Facebook group (see link at the bottom), but also on Instagram!
Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 10
Welcome to the tenth part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! You will be 2/3 of the way with the stitching once you have finished this part, Some things might seem obvious as to how they will be stitched in future parts, but I would suggest not guessing and waiting for the pattern.
Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 9
Welcome to the ninth part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! The first 24 hours of the SAL are up - how are things going for you? Did life get "in the way of stitching" or are you zooming along happily? Are you off having fun somewhere and left the stitching at home because it was better that way? However you spend your day I hope you are enjoying yourself as that is the most important part.
Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 8
Welcome to the eighth part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! Looking at your embroidery so far... does it feel like you are half way? Or does it make you wonder where I'm going to cram even more stitches in? Hopefully it feels like there is plenty of space for more!
Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 7
Welcome to the seventh part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! Hopefully you are all able to more or less keep up with the stitching though with the weekend being the Easter weekend or Passover for many it may become more difficult to be ready for each new part that arrives during your daytime / evening. I hope you have a great weekend whatever you are celebrating or doing! For now here is the next part of the SAL, which as you may notice by the file name is the half way point of this SAL!
Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 6
Welcome
to the sixth part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! If all is well the instructions in the PDF have been helping you locate the stitches as well as the list I give below to help you. The seagulls got a bit of a wing extension in the last part... which you can also see below!

Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 5
Welcome to the fifth part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! I hope you enjoyed part four! Don't forget to make time for breaks if you are spending all weekend stitching and hydrate!
Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 4
Welcome to the fourth part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! I hope you enjoyed part three and are ready for another round of stitching! I am really looking forward to seeing all your posts as you stitch the parts!
Spring Mystery SAL 2019 - Part 3
Welcome to the first proper part of the Spring Mystery
SAL 2019! I'm going to continue on from the numbering from the pre-stitches just so that the file numbers stay consecutive. That means that this is part three. If you don't know what this is have a look at the information post
where you can read what you need to join in this free and fun SAL! I have already given two parts and I have seen some wonderful results in
the Facebook group! Remember that if you want to make it two sided that I
will be giving a pattern for a back at the end of the SAL.

Friday Freebie on a Thursday: 25 x 25 for 2019 - April
Welcome to the fourth of the 25 x 25 for 2019 patterns! This month the pattern is a day early due to the Spring Mystery SAL starting tomorrow. The pattern is a really easy stitch and I have included a second easy pattern for the back this time!

Medieval Owl SAL - April
Welcome to the April edition of the Medieval Owl SAL! This month you get the second part of the owl itself - part of the body and wing! It's going to look a little odd now, especially as your version doesn't have the "roof" that I do on my house on legs!

Friday Freebie: 50 x 50 for 2019 - April
Welcome back for the fourth edition of the 50 x 50 pattern series! This month I was on schedule and had time to stitch both patterns! I was planning on posting this around three-ish but I got a bit slowed down by the fact that I couldn't find the exact colour combination of the Welsh Weave that inspired this pattern, I'll show what I found instead though.

NFSAL 2019 - April
Welcome to the fourth NFSAL of 2019! This month I didn't have time to stitch the NFSAL though it's a small fun little stitch to do. It has a bunch of straight stitches and beads/French knots which make it look extra special though it's quite easy to stitch. If you have been wanting to try some speciality stitches then this is the tiny project to use for it!

Mamluk Cross Stitch SAL - Part 4
Welcome
to the fourth part of the Mamluk
SAL! Sorry it's late! I was running around so much I forgot the time. This month we are going do the first of the "normal" shaped sections. As of this month every part will have the same area of stitches.

Friday Freebie: Ornament of the Month - April
Welcome
to the fourth Ornament of the Month for 2019! This month's colour is Chocolate! This month is Easter for those who celebrate it, which is why I chose this month to give the pattern. Chocolate and Christmas just go together in happy harmony.

Finish It In...2019 - Check In Post for April, TUSAL, and More
Welcome to the fourth Finish It In... 2019 post for the year! In this post I'll show you what I've been up to since the last post (except for the still secret stuff), and I have a few additional things I'm adding too for a big all in one post as it doesn't take much more time to add extra information to this post and it all seems to go together seamlessly. Please note that this post is seriously picture heavy so if you are using a mobile device don't open it unless you are on Wi-Fi

Weavers Birds SAL - Part 4
Welcome to the fourth part of the Weavers Birds SAL! The fourth part brings a new band... which will take the next two and a half months to stitch as the last part of this band will arrive with the first part of the next band for a two for one effect!

Welcome to the second (and last) pre-stitch part of the Spring Mystery SAL 2019! If you don't know what this is have a look at the information post where you can read what you need to join in this free and fun SAL! Last month I gave the first part and I have seen some wonderful results in the Facebook group! Remember that if you want to make it two sided that I will be giving a pattern for a back at the end of the SAL.
