Mini Magical Mystery SAL 17 - Part 6

Welcome back for day six of the seventeenth round of mini mystery stitching! I'm busy getting all the things ready so I can do the final posts of the year for them (or final posts in some cases) and I continue to be so glad this mystery SAL is so easy to keep up with as I can pick it up and get it done within 15 minutes and set it aside to do more of whatever I was planning to get done that day. I'm on schedule at the moment and hope to keep it that way - there's a lot to finish before I can start the things for the new year! But for now on to the mini mystery...

Ornament of the Month 2020 - December

Welcome to the twelfth and final Ornament of the Month for 2020! I hope you have had fun stitching these this year and can't wait to see yours! The good news is that this SAL will be returning in 2020 - with a new shape and an option for another one if you prefer. No dangly bits next year - unless you add a tassel! This month's colours of the month are Indigo, Green, and greenish-blue. As I've already done four shades of blue this year I decided not to go with Indigo and greenish-blue (aka teal) but instead I chose a nice dark Christmassy green.

Mini Magical Mystery SAL 17 - Part 5

Welcome back for day five of the seventeenth round of mini mystery stitching! I'm sorry this is late - I got a bit too side tracked doing all the things this morning and suddenly it was gone 12 - a yikes moment! You will be pleased to hear that today there will be no jumping around!

Mini Magical Mystery SAL 17 - Part 4

Welcome back for day four of the seventeenth round of mini mystery stitching! It might be of interest to you to know that this is the 1300th post on my blog! Yeah I was surprised too! Keeping with the theme of jumping all over the pattern I'm giving you stitches in yet another place. The good news is that I can't jump around forever... or can I...

Advent Magical Mystery SAL 2020 - Part 1

Welcome to the first part of the Advent Magical Mystery SAL! As this is just four parts you will get a lot more stitches in one go each week, though I have tried to make it reasonably easy to do in the time you have till the next one.

Mini Magical Mystery SAL 17 - Part 3

Welcome back for day three of the seventeenth round of mini mystery stitching! I hope you enjoyed stitching yesterdays easier to count bit! Today's part will also bit on the easier side even though there are a few more stitches than yesterday.

Temperature SAL - December

Welcome to the twelfth Temperature SAL post! This isn't the final post though it might seem like it should be but there will be just one more post at the end of the month to show the December temperatures. Speaking of which... I was horrified earlier today while marking out the November temps because I realised that this year's pattern was not quite right - I realised that I'd made enough for 364 days - 13 x 4 weeks - while this year has as per usual 365 days AND an extra day because it's a leap year.

Weavers Animals Band Sampler SAL - Part 12

Welcome to the twelfth and final part of the Weavers Animals Band Sampler SAL! This month both patterns have the same stitch count. You may have noticed that I haven't planned a Weavers SAL for next year - this is because I feel that I've taken all the nice/fun patterns available for this and what's left isn't really something I feel I can make a fun SAL with. Considering it was meant as a one off, three years isn't too bad an end result!

Jodyri Advent - Introduction

Welcome to the introduction post for my Jodyri Designs Advent "box" and my Harry potter Lego advent calendar. Both were gifts - the Harry Potter Lego advent calendar was given to me by my fiancé and the Jodyri Designs advent box was paid for by my dear donators which means I see that as a gift as well! I won't be posting any spoilers in today's post - I'll be making a new post each week after Michelle of Jodyri Designs has given the go ahead to post each weeks goodies so there will be a delay to give everyone time to open theirs. What I will be showing is the closed packaging in case you are curious.

Mini Magical Mystery SAL 17 - Part 2

Welcome back for day two of the seventeenth round of mini mystery stitching! It was a bit of a rush today to get things posted in time and it didn't go well so this post is a bit later than planned. I did get the stitching done for this last night so I do have something to show!

The Autumn Mystery SAL 2020 - The Back and Final Post

Welcome to the back of the Autumn Mystery SAL 2020! It always feels weird to say that but that's what you are getting this time - the optional back that I make for those of you that want to make a two sided biscornu, ornament, pincushion, or perhaps something else I haven't thought of. I'm also making this my final post for this mystery. I hope you have had fun with this mystery and I can't wait to see what you do with yours! If anything, as sometimes fully stitched is fully finished!

Mini Magical Mystery SAL - The Back 2

Welcome back for the second back pattern for the Mini Magical Mystery SAL - it's again towards the end of the patterns that I'm giving this second one - I've just been too run off my feet to do it earlier. Last time it was cross stitched - this time it's done with back and straight stitches. I stitched mine last night in some stolen time - it doesn't take long to do - especially if one doesn't get confused about where to start and then has to rip tiny backstitches.

Mini Magical Mystery SAL 17 - Part 1

Welcome back for day one of the seventeenth round of mini mystery stitching! This is the first of two mini mysteries that will be done this month - it's a month of mysteries as there is also the Advent Mystery SAL and the NYE Mystery! On top of that I'll be posting the second "back" later today as I've finally found time to stitch it!

The Autumn Mystery SAL 2020 - Part 30

Welcome to the 30th part of the Autumn Mystery SAL 2020! Sadly it's the final part of this SAL where you get the final pieces of the puzzle and the excitement of the daily patterns is over, unless you are joining in with the Mini Magical Mystery SAL 17, in which case that post will be here shortly as it starts today! I'll be back one more time tomorrow to show my day 30 stitching, give the pattern for the back, and if I have time to fully finish it the photo of it fully finished. Also good to know: If you prefer larger mysteries the four part Advent Mystery will be starting on Wednesday!

The Autumn Mystery SAL 2020 - Part 29

Welcome to the 29th part of the Autumn Mystery SAL 2020! It's the penultimate part of the SAL so things are getting pretty exciting! I'm sure you'll be overjoyed with the colour of today! It's your favourite one - DMC 022!

The Autumn Mystery SAL 2020 - Part 28

Welcome to the 28th part of the Autumn Mystery SAL 2020! Just two more parts to go after today! I don't know about you but I'm really keen to have mine finished because I can't wait to see how the next few days make mine - and yours - look. So exciting!

NFSAL 2020 - November

Welcome to the eleventh part of this year's NFSAL posts! Yesterday I was thinking happily that I was on top of all the things and didn't have any SAL stuff left today - and then I saw the NFSAL post was still due today... talk about a yikes moment. I didn't get the backstitched part complete this month but I did do the cross stitch (not that it's all that much).

The Autumn Mystery SAL 2020 - Part 27

Welcome to the 27th part of the Autumn Mystery SAL 2020! Today we are again using a colour you haven't seen for a while - it's that time of the SAL apparently! Since it was previously only used in the border you may have been wondering if you'd see it elsewhere - the answer is yes, you will!

The Autumn Mystery SAL 2020 - Part 26

Welcome to the 26th part of the Autumn Mystery SAL 2020! We have now entered what I usually consider the end days of a Mystery SAL (or hours in one that posts every four hours) the time when t's get crossed and i's get dotted and I'm sure you are dying to use more DMC 022 - however for today I have to disappoint you as we aren't using it today - maybe tomorrow... who knows...

The Autumn Mystery SAL 2020 - Part 25

Welcome to the 25th part of the Autumn Mystery SAL 2020! As you probably realised when you saw part 24 you have now finished the border! From now on it's centre all the way, though I'm sure you might be wondering where I'm going to put the remaining stitches that you get today and the final five days. You don't have to wait for today's stitches but do for the rest hehe.
