Bookmark SAL - November

Welcome to the eleventh part of the Bookmark SAL! I'm running a bit late today, yesterday's headache ate into the time planned for stitching this and I wanted to have the half I was working on finished so I could show the shape/colours before making the post. This month there are two colour suggestions and two ways to finish the bookmark!
This is as far as I got - once I had the darkest diamonds stitched it went pretty fast!

I'm stitching mine as a pointy ended bookmark as I do like a pointy bit sticking up out of a book but since I can imagine that some people prefer a straight edge I've also made a pattern showing how to do that. I included the backstitched outlines for the pointy ends on the autumn coloured pattern.

I have also made a rainbow version of this pattern as I realised I was using seven colours and a rainbow has seven too - so the straight ended version has the rainbow colouring.
These are the colours as per the autumn pattern. I'm stitching this on Jodyri Designs Wild Porcini 18ct Aida.

As always have fun with colours if you feel you want to - you could even do this with a single variegated thread!

You can find the Autumn pattern here.

I'll see you tomorrow with the next part of the Autumn Mystery SAL 2020!

  1. Uh, pretty pattern, and so man possibilities! I'll have to think about what to make with that one for a while, but I'm sure something will come to mind :D
