35 x 35 for 2020 - November

Welcome to the eleventh 35 x 35 for 2020! Today's post is rather late because I felt it was important to finish the stitching before taking the picture. As I only had half the final colour of cross stitch and the straight stitches left I knew it wouldn't take all that long to complete. This month there are cross stitches and straight stitches! The straight stitches may look daunting but they stitch up really quickly - there isn't really a wrong way to do them either so just do whatever feels right.
Here you can see it still in the hoop - I finished the stitching moments before writing this post.
These are the threads as per the pattern - you could easily change the colours by replacing the reds with a very light, a light, a medium and a dark of any colour you prefer. The fabric I used is Jodyri Designs Wild Porcini 18ct opal Aida, though you can't really see the sparkle so much in the first image.

You can find the pattern here

Have fun stitching! I'll see you tomorrow for the next part of the Autumn Mystery SAL 2020. I'll see you Tuesday for the next part of the A Blackwork Christmas SAL!
