Last week when you saw this I was here having done as much as I was planning to on week four of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Part 5
Welcome to the fifth week of the SAL! I hope you all had a good stitching week, I know I did but that's for another post. This week we get to the rump of the beasts but not yet as low as the tails.
There is an important SAL announcement at the bottom of the post so please read it all!

Friday Freebie: Floral Hearts
This week's Friday freebie started when I was extending last week's Friday freebie to make the Monday surprise freebie (keeping up still? lol) One of the "fabrics" I added was this one and I loved it so much I made a pattern using it straight away!

WIP Wednesday
Last week the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler looked like this and those of you who have seen the previous post will know that it's changed quite a bit since then...
Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Part 4
Welcome back for the fourth part of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL! This week is a bit more work than last week but not all that much fortunately! For the curious I have made a blog post with all the stitch counts for the whole SAL (dinner was late as a result but these things happen lol). You can find it here

Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Weekly Stitch Count
It occurred to me that you might be curious about stitch counts for the weekly patterns so I have compiled a list for you.

Hello Monday! Surprise Freebie
It might not yet be Monday where you are when you read this as for some it is not but for me and many others it is indeed already Monday and its high time I gave you a surprise freebie on a Monday! Some of you may recognise parts of this as being the Friday freebie and that is correct!

WIP Wednesday
Last time I showed you this I'd done a few stitches towards this week's part of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL. In the meantime as you may have seen in the previous post I did finish the stitching for the week.
Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Part 3
Welcome back for the third part of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL! I have seen some amazing embroideries happen on Instagram and Facebook! From what I've heard people like the new landscape sized pattern so I'm going to stick with that.

2018 WIPocalypse: Intro post
It's been a long time since I last made a WIPocalypse post - just over 2 years ago in fact, it was one of those things that slipped my mind and then I didn't pick it back up again. I do want to start again this year and I hope it goes better than before, even though this post is already late! If you haven't heard of the WIPocalypse before then you can have a look here to see what it's all about!

Post!
I don't often post about stuff I get in the mail any more, mostly because I forget to take photo's before it gets merged into my stash - though I should do a post soon about my Jodyri stuff as its fantastic - but that's a story for another day. Today I want to talk about a parcel that came in the post yesterday. It was sent to me by my dear friend Carla ,who has the Alaska Wolf Pack blog and does a series of FlossTube video's (go check it out, She's fun!), and not only contained stuff she was sending me but also 2 envelopes from other people who had sent them to her to be included in the box! How wonderful is that!?! This post is picture heavy!

Friday Freebie: Fob a Month - January
Yes you see that correctly! The Fob a Month is back! Every second Friday of the month I'll be giving you a fob pattern that is 35 stitches square at most. There is no theme to this - just whatever I come up with at the time but they will always be a good size for a fob - or if stitched on larger fabric a biscornu.

WIP Wednesday
This was as far as I'd gotten with stitching this last week - obviously as it's a weekly update SAL you will see it posted every time the pattern is released but what most of you don't know is that I'm planning on getting to the point where I'm a few weeks ahead in case my health decides to get in the way of stitching. While I can post pictures that are spoiler free I will do so but otherwise it will be hidden.

NYE Mystery SAL: And The Winner Is...
It's the 8th of January and as promised I went around and collected all the names of those that I could find that had finish finished their NYE SAL Embroidery. I had to make more name slips twice! In total 34 people finished their embroidery. That is a pretty awesome number of finishes - for many it was the first finish of the year, which is fantastic!

Friday Freebie: Ornament of the Month - January
It's been a while since I used this banner on a post! The Ornament of the Month patterns are back and this time with a difference! Last time the theme was birthstones and I picked colours based on the colour of the birthstone (or birthstones as some months had more than one). This time there is of course a new theme!

WIP Wednesday! And a Freebie Because... Freebie!
A bit late in the day but still on Wednesday... the first WIP Wednesday post in a long while. I've just been too busy and I have to admit for a quick update Instagram has been easier to do than a blog post.
Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Part 1
Welcome to the first part of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL! I know some of you have been impatiently waiting for the day to come that this should happen and I'm happy to say that today is indeed that day that your patience will be rewarded!

NYE Mystery SAL: Part 13 - Wait what?
Ha! I bet you weren't expecting this! Well... ok... I *did* say there was going to be another part in 3 hours in my last post but I expect you *may* have thought that was a copy/paste mistake or something.

Welcome back! I hope you had fun stitching part eleven and are ready for
the next part! Now is the time for the final reveal! I hope you like the end result!
NYE Mystery SAL: Part 11
