Welcome back for the fourth part of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL! This week is a bit more work than last week but not all that much fortunately! For the curious I have made a blog post with all the stitch counts for the whole SAL (dinner was late as a result but these things happen lol). You can find it here
If you think this is a repeat of the banner you would be forgiven - there isn't much difference as it happens but there is some - one extra row at the bottom! You can see the two monsters (said in the nicest way possible but you can tell by the tails that they are not dragons) more and more as the weeks pass. It might surprise you but next week will see the middle of this band!
You will notice that this week I have again not stitched a section of the pattern. I did this because I want the colour flow to continue to the point of the leaf which starts just below where I stopped and I want it to continue up the last side of the leaf. Then the plan is to continue with the stalk on each side with the thread leftover from the leaves.
Just in case you need a reminder of the complete band...
You can find the black and white pattern here

If you are stitching this too and want to join us on Facebook just go to
the Facebook group and answer the two simple questions asked - if you are
on mobile it won't be so obvious that there are two questions but there
really are and if you don't answer both and don't respond to me asking
you to fill in the last question (I offer help too!) then unfortunately
I'll have to decline your application. The good news is that you are not
banned from the group and can just apply again.
If you want to (also) join in on Instagram or Twitter all you need to do
is use the tag #weaverstapestrybandsamplersal and/or my name
@Magical525 and I'll be sure to look in on your work and possibly even
re-tweet it if it's on Twitter!
I'll see you tomorrow/later with my weekly WIP Wednesday post and Friday for the weekly Friday Freebie!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.
