Welcome to the June edition of the Medieval Owl SAL! This month you get to add the first part of the tail! My health issues have been cheerfully continuing as per usual and as so many times already this month they have affected my stitching. I'm just 163 stitches (and 16 colours) short of completing this month's section as I type this. I did get the first six colours done - which added up to 503 stitches, so I didn't do too badly for a day's stitching.
His behind is a bit raggedy looking but it will soon fill in! I'll finish him up and show him off properly in the July Finish It In... 2019 post.
Next month you will get the second (and last) part of the tail.
You can find the pattern here
If you are stitching this too and want to join us on Facebook just go to
the Facebook group and apply!
If you want to (also) join in on Instagram or Twitter all you need to do
is use the tag #MedievalOwlSAL and my name
@Magical525 and I'll be sure to look in on your work and possibly even
re-tweet it if it's on Twitter!
I hope you have fun stitching and I'll see you Friday for the June 25 x 25 for 2019!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

Hopefully, your health will learn to behave itself! I'm sure you'll be back on track with your stitching soon.
ReplyDeleteEven now all this time later and I'm still working on that! It was the summer of bad health unfortunately but at least I got to see my fiancé this summer :)
