Weavers Birds SAL - Part 6

Welcome to the sixth part of the Weavers Birds SAL! This month you finish band two and do most of band three! Yes, that's right - band three is a skinny band of just 19 stitches high excluding the bands that come between each band.
This is what it will look like after you complete part six. As you can see there isn't much left of the third band - just the legs/feet and a bit of tail and the rest of the flower.

Fun notes:
  • Three stitches from the bottom of this week's pattern is the middle of the entire pattern!
  • If you are stitching the borders at the same time as the central area then you will have done 10566 stitches in total so far of the 21813 stitches
  • If you have already stitched the borders completely then you will have done 12829 stitches in total so far of the 21813 stitches

You can find the black and white pattern here
You can find the colour pattern here

If you are stitching this too and want to join us on Facebook just go to the Facebook group and apply!

If you want to (also) join in on Instagram or Twitter all you need to do is use the tag #WeaversBirdsSAL and my name @Magical525 and I'll be sure to look in on your work and possibly even re-tweet it if it's on Twitter!

I'll see you tomorrow for this month's Finish It In... 2019 post, Thursday for the NFSAL post, and on Friday there will be the Ornament of the Month - it's a busy week on the blog that's for sure!
