Friday Freebie: Easter Egg

Happy Friday! This week I thought I'd make a little Easter egg that can be stitched up as a last minute ornament or card. It can be stitched in two ways even so even if you don't celebrate Easter but want to have some Spring in your house or send a happy card to someone then this pattern will work for that too!
If you don't stitch the border and the leaves at the top and bottom then you have a lovely floral pattern that will do for any season, depending on the colours you stitch it in. It would even make for a fun Mother's day card for those of us that celebrate Mother's day in May (nothing like planning ahead!).

As always feel free to pick your favourite colours - or use what you have in stash! This is also perfect to use up some leftover bits from other patterns or kits.

You can find the pattern here

Important note:

It was brought to my attention by an eagle eyed fb group member that I'd missed a bit of the plants in the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL Part 12 - I have added that bit to the pattern and added it to the part 12 page. I'm sorry about this - I'll be checking things carefully to try and avoid it in the future. The good news is that NO ripping is required - just 30 stitches that can be added if you wish.

I'll see you Tuesday with the next part of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL!

Next week there won't be a Friday freebie as I'll be hosting the Spring Magical Mystery SAL over the weekend instead
