Welcome to the tenth NFSAL of 2019! This month I used two colours in my embroidery because the thread I'd done the cross stitch with didn't show up well when used for backstitch.
I had to take the photo under my daylight lamp as it's almost midnight here and a bit too dark to photograph outside. I stitched the NFSAL pattern using Jodyri Designs September 2017 Limited Edition fabric "Autumn Leaves" 18ct Aida and "Fields of Gold" A 014 thread. I used DMC 009 for the backstitch and TOHO TR-11-5B Transparent Siam Ruby seed beads instead of French knots.
The pattern is 31 stitches square.
You can find the pattern here
Have fun stitching and I'll see you tomorrow for the October 50 x 50 for 2019 post! And in case you missed it: Saturday there will be the first pre-stitch for the next Mystery SAL!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.
