Happy Friday! This week is technically a no SAL post but as I'm running behind I thought I'd do an all in one Friday Freebie Bonanza and get all caught up in one post so you don't have to wait any longer for patterns that are late. So I'll start with the post you have waited the longest for and end with the post that you were going to get today!
Welcome back for the eighth edition of the 50 x 50 pattern series! This month I wasn't able to stitch this pattern at all.
This month I went for a fun floral pattern which when changed to the inverse looks like this:
It's two stitches smaller due to the border of the main pattern but you could always add that in and have it exactly 50 x 50 too.
Like last month the nice thing about this pattern is that you can repeat the section within the border as often or
as little as you like (or have the patience for) and it will look
great!

Welcome
to the eighth of the 25 x 25 for 2019 patterns! It seems a bit odd to be saying that but then again it's how I always start my posts and since this is a multi-post blog post I'm saying it anyway!
This month's pattern wasn't stitched yet due to being unable to stitch and then catching up on all the things that needed doing (in between heatwaves... joy) Its a fairly easy thing to stitch even with the stitches in the centre. Just start on the outer edge and work towards the centre of each section, you may find a bit of a hole showing up but that's ok as it is a partial eyelet and these things usually happen with them.
You can find the pattern here
But wait... there is more! Yes indeed there is, as the first banner on the post also was a hint that there was another pattern going to be included today! You have had Geometric 1 and Geometric 2 now it's time for the third and last of the series: Geometric 3!
Like the other two in the mini-series this one can be made any size you like and in any colour combination! You could even leave the darker yellow out and only do the lighter yellow if you want a speedy stitch or have some pretty fabric to stitch on.
The pattern is 43 stitches square.
You can find the pattern here
Have a wonderful weekend! Next week is a busy week: Tuesday is the Weavers Birds SAL, Wednesday is (hopefully) the catch up for the Finish It In... 2019, and Friday is the September
Ornament of the Month.
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

Thanks for the catch up post. I have a minor question - when was Geometric 2 posted? I've got Geometric 1 but can't find 2.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome! The second one was included as a freebie on a SAL-less Tuesday. Sorry I forgot to link them as planned, if you look now you will see both previous patterns linked in the post :)
DeleteSorry, missed that one! Thanks for doing the update.
DeleteNo worries - it wasn't posted as a Friday freebie but hidden as a Tuesday post so not quite where one might expect to find it. :)
DeleteThank you for the update! That's a lot of catching up all at once...thank you for all that you do for us!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome! It was but it needed doing and I wanted it all done before all of the September posts started :) You are welcome!
DeleteThank you for all the patterns! I especially love the 25x25, those partial eyelets are really cool.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome! I'm glad you like the 25 x 25... I was a bit nervous about that one.
