Happy Friday! This week is a non SAL week but I have a freebie for you as usual. As is often the case with the patterns I make, it can be made as large or as small as you desire. Although it's designed in one colour you can of course use one colour or many - or a variegated thread! This week's pattern is one blackwork fans will love, though it isn't strictly blackwork.
The pattern reminds me a bit of those Arabic tile walls you see stunning photos of online. It looks pretty complicated but once you see the repeating pattern sections within the whole you should be able to work it quite quickly.
The pattern is 50 stitches square.
You can find the pattern here
Have a wonderful weekend! Next week is a busy week: Tuesday is the
Weavers Birds SAL, Wednesday is Finish
It In... 2019, and Friday is the October
Ornament of the Month.
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.
