Welcome to the ninth part of the Mamluk SAL! This month we are finishing the row - just one row left and it's finished! This month I was able to catch up on last month's stitching AND do this month's stitching.
This is what it will look like after this month's part is stitched if you are doing the original version. (As you can see it's still in the hoop - next month I'll show it all)
Please note that the patterns show the entire pattern area every month -
as time goes by the space will become covered in stitches. So what
shows as the middle this month IS the middle of the pattern.
This month there are 236 stitches (23 stitches of red and 213 stitches
of blue) for the original version and 267 (54 stitches of red and 213
stitches of blue) for the restored version.
You can find the original pattern here
You can find the restored pattern here
If you are stitching this too and want to join us on Facebook just go to
the Facebook group and apply!
If you want to (also) join in on Instagram or Twitter all you need to do
is use the tag #MamlukSAL and/or my name
@Magical525 and I'll be sure to look in on your work and possibly even
re-tweet it if it's on Twitter!
I'll see you Thursday with the ninth NFSAL on the blog and Friday with the ninth 50 x 50 for 2019!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.
