Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Part 17

Welcome back for part 17 of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL! This week there are only a few stitches left to complete the stags but 302 to do the little border between this and the next band. As it's the end of a band and I prefer not to give a single row of the next band in a pattern you have a row less of stitching this week - which is good considering this week's pattern has 486 stitches.
If life and other SALs/projects haven't side tracked you and you have managed to keep up with stitching your embroidery will look something like this once you have added this week's pattern.
If like me you DID get side tracked it might look more like this at the end of the week! It was going so well and then I had to set things aside for another project that shall remain secret for now (but you *may* be able to see the threads of it in the background) and that took longer than planned mainly because I also have been attacking the garden a lot and it was really hot for a chunk of the week making my fingers swell up. Best laid plans and all that. I have to admit my fiancé was right when he predicted that I might not finish the band as planned.

You can find the black and white pattern here
