Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Part 14

Welcome back for the 14th part of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL! This week we start the body of the stags and get to add a bit more to the unusual plant they are so clearly enjoying!
This is what it will look like once you have finished stitching this week's section.
And this is my version still in the oval hoop I dug out as it was getting painful with parking needles along the sides as I didn't want to park them in existing embroidery. Now I have a clip for each thread, which keeps things nice and organised.

One more week and it will be time to show the next border! So not next week but the week after just to be clear.

And as always the bit we have done and the pattern section we are working on:

You can find the black and white pattern here
You can find the colour pattern here

If you are stitching this too and want to join us on Facebook just go to the Facebook group and apply!

If you want to (also) join in on Instagram or Twitter all you need to do is use the tag #weaverstapestrybandsamplersal and/or my name @Magical525 and I'll be sure to look in on your work and possibly even re-tweet it if it's on Twitter!

I'll see you Friday for the Friday freebie - this week it's time for the Ornament of the Month for April!

  1. Thank you so very much for doing this lovely SAL! I've not got to stitch much on it but I so look forward to each new release that I'm looking into ways to shirk my adulting responsibilities just to make more time for this SAL :)

    1. You are very welcome! :D Finding time to stitch while still adulting is not always easy - and making minions do the things you want them to is sometimes even more difficult (not sure if you have any but I do... they like gaming far too much lol!!)

    3. This weekend has been a prime example of no time and the consequences of being overly busy when it comes to stitching time.

      You are welcome Jenie! :)
