Having seen the title many of you will be wondering why I'm showing a picture of my Randje per Week... well that's because the source of the pattern is stitched on it. That of course still doesn't help at all so I'll point it out to you: it's the teal and brown border in the middle of the photo. The border pattern is one of the weavers draft patterns found on the Antique Pattern Library and I liked it so much I used it on my Randje per Week.
The pattern itself made me wonder what it would look like if it was done as an all over pattern so I played around with it and this is what I came up with - not just the one but four different patterns that I have decided to combine into a single pattern sheet (printable as four separate pages!) so you can mix and match to create the pincushion or biscornu of your dreams.
Naturally you can also pick and choose which colours you prefer for your embroidery, I just used the teal, brown, and cream as that's what I'd used to stitch my band with.
You can find the pattern here
See you Tuesday with the eighteenth section of the Weavers Tapestry
Band Sampler SAL - when you will get the
third band!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.
