Spring Magical Mystery SAL: Part 15

Welcome to the fifteenth and last part of the Spring Magical Mystery SAL! Or is it.....? Well... If you are stitching the back it's not and if you aren't it is! This part comes with a load of half cross stitches (and a few next to each other that could be referred to as back stitches) and with a load I mean 100 - which sounds like a lot but in fact they go really quickly as you don't need to count to stitch them! You can however see why I saved this bit for last!

Important pattern notes:

Check to make sure you have your embroidery the right way up! I didn't before starting pre-stitch 2 and had to rip as it was turned 90 degrees and the stitches were not looking the same way.

The patterns all have a red line around them - do NOT stitch this! This line is to help you place where stitches have to go so you can see the centre of the pattern more easily. Though since you are stitching the centre of the pattern this week as well that should also make things easier for you.

The patterns also have a blue line around the red line - if you are stitching a biscornu this is the suggested backstitch line placement.

This is what my version looked like after Part 14, with all the green added in the central part.

Colours used this time:

  • Colour A
  • Colour B
  • Colour C
Number of stitches:
  • 24 cross stitch - all in colour C
  • 100 half cross stitches
    • 68 Colour A
    • 32 Colour B
You can find the fifteenth part here

Have fun and see you in 4 hours for the back if you are stitching the back, or just to take a peek at my finished version!
