For those of you wondering what happened to the numbering all I can say is that today while looking for Mike's Mushrooms last post I discovered that I'd got the numbering mixed up and was saying it was UFO #12 instead of UFO #11 - I'll be changing the numbering on the other posts too so as to reduce confusion (hopefully)
Any way... today's progress has seen me to the end of the green lines - and tomorrow will see the start of the second half of the blue - only time will tell how far I'll get.
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

CLAPPING WILDLY!!!
ReplyDeleteYAY!! :D
DeleteI like how you secure the extra fabric. Duh! on my part. I just struggle with holding in out of the way of future stitches!
ReplyDeleteI hate flapping ends of embroidery so have always pinned which ever bit I need to keep out of the way to secure it - it also helps keep the embroidery clean :) Any creases that occur come out when dunked in water for a little post embroidery soak and with the pressing afterwards.
