Wip Wednesday - A Two Week Wrap Up

Unfortunately not everything goes to plan in life and last week's WIP Wednesday blog was one of the casualties of this. This week I have succeeded at making the post so I hope you enjoy the pictures! As always I'm starting with the Vakje Per week which you can see has had 2 weeks worth of stitching since you last saw it.
There isn't much left on the piece of fabric and there are still 6 weeks left! It's going to be a bit of a tight squeeze but I can do it. Of course in this photo you can't see the latest boxes very clearly so below is a close up.
Next up is a little finish I stitched: the fob of the Weavers Tapestry Friday freebie pattern I gave on the 20th October and stitched on the 22nd and 23rd.
Last but not least is the border of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL sample I'm stitching! Last time you saw it was when I'd finished the first skein.
Since then I've finished the 2nd skein, passed the half way mark on the second long side and have less than 2000 stitches left to do of the 8472 stitches of the border.
If the tedium of the repeats doesn't get to me I may even have this finished next week - it will certainly go faster once I get close to the corner! This is why I do borders first - repeating patterns bore me quickly even though I love the look of them, so done first I can't not do them and I avoid ending up with a UFO of epic proportions.

Don't forget the border pattern will be released on the 15th November on this blog - only 14 more sleeps!

Also of possible interest are the NFSAL (Neglected Floss SAL) patterns I make - I released the November one last night. You can find them all linked in the sidebar on the right or you can just click here to see them all at once!

I'll see you Friday with this week's Friday freebie!

  1. You got a lot done, and while I've seen it all before, I do enjoy looking at it again and again! Especially the size of that Weaver's SAL will take a few more 'lookings at' to actually sink in...
