Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL: Part 39

Welcome back for part 39 of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL! This week I finally got back to stitching this project! If you look below you will see it in all its glory as I took a photo of it all today.

This is what it will look like once you have stitched this week's pattern. The second creature of this band is showing it's head and because I wanted to be sure you knew what was what I made a detail picture for you this week.
Just click to enlarge to see what is creature and what is plant!

I've been working on one half of the band as it's faster to stitch as much as possible within the hoop before sliding it down between the folded edges of the excess fabric than it is to unfold everything, place the hoop, refold and then stitch. I'm down to band six that I'm stitching all in one go instead of splitting it into parts 27 and parts 28. Once I reach where we are I'll first stitch the upcoming band before continuing with the catch up phase of the embroidery.

Next week part six of the ninth band: Part of the back legs, more plant and the main body and neck of the other creatures in this band.
