Welcome to the second part of the Ornament of the Month for this year! This month we are doing purple again, but this time a bit lighter. I did find time to do part of a pre-stitch this month and it's a good thing too! What looked fantastic on paper turned out to look like a nasty mess once stitched. Fortunately after a couple of tries I found what I liked and looks nice!
It's not finished yet as I spent so much time first making 33 photos of step by step instructions for the failed version and then trying out the other things I wanted (not to mention the extended nap needed after getting up extra early for blood tests. I had to bicycle 20 minutes before food/coffee/meds give the blood and bike back with only half an energy bar as food as I'd forgotten to put a new one in my handbag in my rush to get there)
I won't be adding beads till after all the stitching is done so they don't get in the way of the hoop as I move it around.

I hope you have a great weekend! I'll see you next week for the next
Weavers Tapestry band Sample SAL section, my WIP Wednesday post, and of
course the next Friday freebie!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.
