This week's Friday freebie is another Purple Psalter inspired pattern, this time a background from the Rule of St. Benedict.
Although the crosses in the centres of each section are not everyone's cup of tea I did include them here as they are the way the original manuscript has them. I have included a suggestion in the pattern so you can change it to flowers instead if you choose.
As you can see it's a small change but does make it look very different!
I hope you enjoy this pattern, you can find it here.
Have a good weekend and remember to treat yourself now and then to something nice!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.

Another beautiful pattern. I had to search a little to find the difference between the cross and flowers - what a difference such a small change can make!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes the change is small but it does make quite the difference :D
