It's been quite some time since I last did a WIP Wednesday post due to the summer holiday, some health issues and stitching up a storm trying to catch up and keep up with things - I even missed the TUSAL posts! Today is finally that post I keep starting and not completing due to lack of time to do the big ass post required for it.
First of all, as always, is the Vakje per week! At the top you can see what it looked like last time you saw it. I've done a lot since then though - at one point I was 8 weeks behind! - I managed to catch up and keep caught up despite everything else. Only 9 more weeks to go fortunately as I'm running out of space!
Next is Dear Rine - I got a bit more done on this, partly due to some fun time waiting at the dentist for several visits that ended up in a root canal treatment (still ongoing - just the final filling left)
Then there is the Linen and Threads Mystery Band Sampler SAL... I was way behind on this, but managed to catch up a bit before having to set it aside to work on the Weavers Tapestry Sampler SAL
I managed to finish June, do all of July and the first of the two August bands, and part of the second August band.
This year's Steotchalong was worked on a bit more too - my eldest son has claimed it and I will eventually finish it.
I'm not too thrilled with the ending he chose but still, I did promise so I'll fit it in at some point.
Last December's NFSAL
Finished at last - at least the front, I still need to make it into an ornament.
Also worked on but not shown before (in no particular order):
Lakeside Needlework's Free Tea and Cake SAL:
Just the backstitching to finish. You can find the pattern in the Facebook group's files
Satsuma street's Halloween Cat (For Carla and Leonore's Halloween SAL)
And the same but then with the glow in the dark threads showing:
The sample for the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL
Another of the Christmas in July patterns
And that is all for this round up post - I hope you enjoyed it! I'll see you Friday for my weekly freebie!
That really is a lot of stitching that happened! You did well catching up on your SALs and I'm sure once that border is done and things calm down a bit, you'll get back to the other as well.
ReplyDeleteYes it is! Thanks :D I certainly hope so, it's been hard work so far but I'm still enjoying it :)
