Happy Friday! Hopefully you are not being cooked alive by the heat waves that are happening all over the world but are able to keep more or less cool. This week I went tiny with my patterns as I thought that something you can do quickly might be nicer when it's almost too hot to hold a needle.
I make this size quite a lot for Mattsma for her prize sewing bags (example linked) over on Deviant Art, which she then changes up to make misc items to add to a sewing bag.
I have added some pointers in the notes as to what colour backstitch goes where as in some cases the way they show is not quite what they really are. It's quite interesting how colours change when next to other colours.
You can, of course, use any colours you like for this - I just wanted cool colours today as I'm feeling pretty toasty - my living room is currently 29C/84.2 f. It was 36C/96.8 f outside today and I am *so* done with this heat!
You can find the pattern here
Have a great weekend, stay cool and I'll see you Tuesday with part 31 of the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL!
I first started this blog due to "popular demand" for me to to share my cooking and quilting results in blog form as it was easier for friends and people who know me to see what I'm up to, especially compared to just an image hosting site. Now I blog because I enjoy sharing what I do and hope that I do in some way inspire people to try new things out as well.
