Easter Ornament #2 & more

I had so much fun stitching up NevaSirenda's first ornament that I continued on to make her second one, the 2012 ornament. As you can see this too is designed with her Ukrainian heritage in mind and it's just as lovely as the first! They are so nice and fast to stitch up, it takes me longer to finish them as an ornament than it does to stitch as the finishing is not my favourite bit.

It uses 4 colours and is 45 x 29 stitches. I finished it into a 3 1/2" ornament with a cord and tassels made with craft thread.

Photo made after dark with my camera balanced on the side of the Ottlite Carla had given me as the prize for last year's Tons of Tiny SAL. I'm so happy with this light, it really does make my life easier!

In other news I've just had word that another package I sent in February finally arrived so now I can show what I sent! It's the logo bear of my favourite game developer: Tiny Rebel Games. They really do communicate with players a lot and always take the time to deal with issues as soon as they physically can, and keep people up to date that there is an issue as best as they can too, not something you can say about many game developers. They made my favourite match 3 game: Doctor Who: Legacy, if you like Doctor Who you really should check the game out (it can be found in most mobile stores, and on Facebook too!) - it's free and stays free if you want to keep it that way.

I made the logo as a cross stitch a while back and finally finished it into a journal cover in January.

Have a great day!

  1. Still love the eggs, and I had some thinking to do about them and remember I have saved every pattern in my Easter folder! Lovely finish on the bear, those game people are very deserving of your handiwork :D

  3. Great work! I keep wanting to make something crafty for one of my favourite developers, the CD Project people, but I keep putting it off...
